Kaeli wanted to hold baby Cassie last night. But Baby Cassie did not want Kaeli to hold her!

Marine World

We went to Marine World on Saturday with Aunty Jessica. Weather was nice. Not too hot, but a little cold when the sun went down. Kaeli rode only a couple of rides. She only enjoyed the train rides. Daddy took her on one that is similar to the dumbo ride... she cried. She really wanted to play water but it wasn't warm enough. We got to see elephants, whales, dolphins, penguins, lions, tigers, giraffes, birds. Oh.. the bird show we saw, during the show 2 birds flew AWAY instead of where they were suppose to go. They were able to get one back but we never saw the other one. CRAZY!

Kaeli didn't want to get near these characters or any characters.

Emma

Grandma has been taking Kaeli to the park by our house. Emma lives in the same complex. They became instant friends. Emma is a few months older than Kaeli, she is moving to Morgan Hill so they might not get to play much after she moves. Hopefully they can see each other once in awhile.

Grandma's Surprise Birthday!

We surprised Grandma for her birthday on Sunday at Maggiano's. Yummy food!!!

Moving Classroom/Alex

So we found out that Kaeli is ready to move up to the next classroom. She doesn't want to go because her best friend Alex is not moving until the end of summer. There are about 5 girls from her class moving up with her but she doesn't play with the girls. Her teacher said she and Alex are the best of friends. When Kaeli isn't there, he's asking where she is and when Alex isn't there she's asking for him. Hopefully they will still be best friends when he moves up to her classroom later this year. They will still see each other at recess.

She's even dreamed about Alex. 2 nights last week I heard her talking and when I went in her room, I heard her say "Alex...." followed by gibberish. But she was fast asleep.

Jelly Belly

Since I had a day off, Kaeli and I went to the Jelly Belly Factory. She loved it! She stood in line herself to get her samples!















So happy getting samples! She was hesitant at first, but I told her if she wants it, she needs to get in line herself and ask. Of course the lady behind the counter could barely see her and wouldn't give her any without my ok.














After our 40 minute tour. She walked herself the whole time looking down at all the machines and people working. She was really paying attention. Need to look for more things to take her too!

Park and Sushi

Kaeli and I went to a park by our house on Monday. She met a 3 year old boy named Mateo. They hit it off right away. Mateo would call her to follow him. Then he could chase her around the playground. There was a huge puddle where kids were playing but I didn't bring swimming stuff or extra clothes and shoes. It was so cute Mateo had on all his swim stuff, but didn't go into the water until Kaeli and I were walking away to leave. Then he bee-lined it for the water. They even hugged each other before we left!

Kaeli and I then went home and had Sushi and Watermelon for lunch. She loves California rolls!

Lunch Sunday

Grandma made us lunch on Sunday. Tacos and homemade ice cream! YUMMY! Thank you grandma! We got to see Baby Justin! Kaeli made Uncle John who is over 6' tall get under the table with her. She then convinced Grandma to get under the table to eat.

Chuck E Cheese

We went to Chuck E Cheese with Melanie and Kaeli loved it except the jungle gym. She started crying when she was inside at the top!
